Financial Accountant (m/f/x)
Job description
- You will be responsible for carrying out financial accounting tasks in the area of accounts payable, banks and G/L accounts and will be responsible for regular account reconciliations and account maintenance to ensure our data quality
- You are responsible for fixed assets, including valuing and booking our assets
- With regard to tax issues, you will work on VAT in particular and prepare the summarised reports and tax returns in coordination with our tax advisor
- You manage all intercompany matters of the German holding company including our subsidiaries and support the integration of potential M&A activities
- You play a leading role in our monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and are the contact person for auditors and other external stakeholders
- You actively support the monthly reporting with evaluations and analyses and work together with our controlling team on its further development
- You develop, realise and improve processes in the specialist area and at the various interfaces
- You are in regular dialogue with Group colleagues in France regarding our consolidation topics
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and ideally further training as a financial/accountant or a comparable qualification
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in financial accounting in a private company, preferably also in a tax consultancy firm
- You have an understanding of tax regulations and legal requirements
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and ideally have experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (level B2 or better)
- You have an independent, structured and conscientious way of working as well as a quick grasp of things
- Team spirit and openness round off your profile
