Senior FP&A Controller (m/f/x)

The function ‘Senior FP&A Controller’ deals essentially with financial planning and analysis. Your focus should therefore be on planning, forecasting, and analyzing financial information to help management make decisions and optimize the company's financial performance.


Your daily tasks

  • As main part of FINANCIAL PLANNING, you are creating financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and landings to meet company's financial goals.

  • In respect of BUDGETING, you are developing and monitoring budgets to allocate resources effi-ciently.

  • Regarding FINANCIAL MODEL CREATION, you are developing models for the analysis and forecasting of financial ratios.

  • For PROFITABILITY ANALYSIS, you have to figure out optimization potentials and measures to increase profitability.

  • As a part of RISK MANAGEMENT, you must identify financial risks, in particular liquidity risks, and provision of solutions to minimize risk.

 

As a ‘Senior FP&A Controller’ you should offer a combination of professional qualifications, expe-rience, and personal skills.

Your required profile

  • FINANCIAL LITERACY: You should have a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting (Local GAP/ HGB and IFRS), and financial analysis. Also, the knowledge of balance sheets, in-come statements, and cash flow statements is essential.

  • ANALYTICAL SKILLS: You must be able to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make in-formed decisions. Also, you should be familiar with the use of financial models and tools.

  • BUDGETING/ FORECASTING: One of your experiences should be creating budgets, forecasts, landings, and financial plans. Therefore, it is a requirement to be able to interpret historical data and predict future developments.

  • BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING: You must understand the company's business model, industry, and strategic goals. You should bring along a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a structured way of working.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: One of your skills should be to present complex financial information in an understandable way and communicate with other departments.

  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: The absolute prerequisite is the knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power-Point, financial software, and business intelligence tools. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.

  • ADDITIONALLY: International work experience is also an advantage; business fluent language skills in English required for working with other areas of the Babilou Group.
